Shadow 1986-2008

My dear friend Richard, an equine photographer, lost his horse, Shadow today. I don't know the details, but Shadow was getting up there in age. I know Richard loved him dearly. I found the poem over on Midwest Horse comforting and forwarded it to him. I just wanted to say goodbye to the sweet old gelding that held Richards heart. Goodbye Shadow:-(

The four leggeds touch us very deep. We still light a candle in the rainbow bridge memorial every Monday for Mr Wiggles. It has helped. My heart goes to your friend and when we little the candle on monday I will light for Sadow too.

I'm sorry for the loss of Richard's 4 legged friend. Sometimes the best of friends don't say anything at all, they're just there constantly giving you love.

Thanks for all the well wishes for Richard. He is a man with a heart of gold and his horses are his family. I know this will be a very difficult time for him and your kind words will mean so much to him.

That is so hard :( We love them so much and it is so awful when you must say good bye. I am gonna give my guy an extra apple next time I see him.

Hopefully Richard will focus on the good times. It can't stop the hurt but it can make it just a little better...
