Happy Birthday Isolde!

I am so excited for Esther from Ishtar News! Arwen had her baby. Little Isolde arrived this week and look at these great photos of the new arrival. For those that don't know Esther (Ishtar), she is an amazing Swedish woman doing humanitarian work in Niger. I love reading her blog. She has an amazing world view and shares so much about the places and the things that she loves. Arwen is a race horse and it looks like Isolde, got her mom's LONG legs and her lovely coloring. Congrats Esther and Arwen....very exciting news.

What terrific photos. It's a miracle, isnt it?

How sweet of you, Photogchic! I certainly agree with Saddle Rider that it really is a miracle indeed! What a perfect little filly that came out! We are all in love with her - and yet I am in Sweden for another week and only received images of her. But I will see her soon, and am sooo looking forward to it!!!

I bet Esther is looking forward to meeting the filly for the first time. I can see hugs and maybe a pat or two on the rump. Really nice photos.

I will be visiting Esther's site next.

I didn't realize you were in Sweden still:-) I know you are always anxious to get back to Niger, but knowing this little cutie arrived must make it all the harder.

BABY DAY! Every day should be a BABY DAY! As long as we know they will all have loving homes forever and ever. I posted my clinic schedule-would love to see you any day (and of course, welcome to stay with me). I also have the spare keys to your house (sorry).

What a beautiful baby, love the rich bay color of them both! And surely those legs will be fast!!

@Photogchic: I'm going back to Niger next week, so it won't be long now until I get to see her. Just posted new pictures of her first adventure across the street. She's got some serious racing moves and takes after her mother, for sure!

I also have enjoyed Esther's site and look forward to watching this filly grow. I am adding your site to my links. I'm sick about that horse that was shot.

I just stumbled across your blog today. Great pictures! If you like dressage, you might get a kick out of this you-tube I found called "Men Doing Dressage" -- very Monty Python!

Any thoughts of having Maddy mated some day, Photogchic?
