I am heading home to visit my nephew,
Weston, in Minnesota. He is almost three months old already. I made him a "stuffed" Maddy as a little gift. It turned out really cute. Of course I asked a friend who stopped over what he thought and his response was "Is that a llama?" Ugh. Have a great week everyone. I am off to enjoy a little vacation.

Have a great vacation!!
have a great vacation and anyone can tell that is one adorable horse! I'm sure your nephew will love the gift.
Where did you get the pattern for that? It is so adorable! Lucky duck to be going to MN. I miss going to the state fair! Have fun :-)
That is the cutest thing...
I hope you get to see your Grey Gelding too...have fun Jules~
I like it! I think you did a great job!
Wow this is really nice! I think it's beautiful!
I got to your blog through someone elses. Two things interest me... 1. The rope halter. I love working with it, and my POA (Abbe...photo on my Journal) has become so sensitive and responsive. My goal is to hook her to a cart. She line drives beautifully with it.
And saddle fitting...We have been having Saddle Fitting Clinics here for over 10 years. I would say 85% of the people riding don't have a clue regarding proper fit. The clinician is Ann Forrest of Equestrian Imports. She is from Scotland, but is based in Florida and goes all over the US. One of the most popular saddles is the Albion. Have you ever heard of this? She has a website that is worth checking out. I'm very much into photography, but have not gotten into videos yet. Nice blog.

What's wrong with lamas? Babies love em!!
My spanish teacher had a saying. One L lama, Two L yama, Three L arm fire!
I really feel your passion and love for horses in your blog. In my search for REAL horse/riding information in the Mt. Hood area, I came across your blog. I will be up in that area for the 20th (:-0 ) wedding anniversary for Paul and me. We would love to find a place to ride that understands advanced riders who don't have a horse with them. :-( I wonder if you have any suggestions. My email is pwdolkas@jps.net. Thanks for any wisdom and advice you can offer.

My bad Julie! Llama is the correct spelling for the animal.
That spanish teacher must have meant Lama as in Dali. "Llama" in spanish means "talk".
After reading your post yesterday this is pretty neat. I like it better.

Stuffed Maddy is a winner in my book. How adorable. Hope you had a nice trip "home" to MN!
Hi Photogchic! Arwen just had a her firstborn this past Monday and my little niece, who is three, is complaining that she has no duplo foal and must use an adult horse to play the part of Isolde, Arwen's little filly! Children are so cool, and when they have an aunt who's into horses, they get into horses too!!!
