Notorious horse flipper Tania Herring of Mill City, Oregon finally busted for animal neglect. Investigators found 116 horses on the property, 70 showing severe signs of neglect. Two were found in a trailer with the worse case of strangles I have ever seen. They are the two pictured lying down. It was pretty sick watching the video of these horses the other day. Sores, starvation, and mange so bad some horses didn't even have any hair. 
They seized 30 yesterday and figure more in the next few days. She is facing 30 counts of animal neglect and hopefully some jail time. Linn County Sheriffs deputies are saying this is the worst case of neglect they have ever seen. How about banning her from ever owning a horse again?

Doesn't that just make you sick? I couldn't even watch the video. I can't say what should be done to that woman, but I do think, an eye for an eye. She should spend more than a day in the stall or trailer she locked the horses in and see how it feels.
I hope they throw the book at her.
Lock her up and keep her there.
You know as well as I do that in the rare chance the judge does decide to ban her from owning horses every again, the follow through is nonexistent. Our justice system is so broken when it comes to animals. I just hope that whatever happens to this woman she has to spend a LONG time in jail.
Fromn another blog, I have read that horsemen had reported her earlier in her career, before she had so many neglect cases and the authorities did nothing.
I don't know why it has to take so long for officials to do something about animal neglect when they seem to be able to take children away from their parents for far less than this kind of cruelty.

so Vet confirmed the 2 baby horses in the trailer do NOT have strangles and were also not taken by authorities. They were simply in quarantine to make sure they had nothing. The horses "that could not walk" was an abcess, which as you can see in picture was being taken care of. The horses leg is wrapped. of course it will limp till it is better.
Horse with "mange" is a curly horse, sehds all its hair when spring comes.
They should lock her up and throw away the key. And she should never be able to have horse again. Why would someone do this, anyway? I can never understand what goes on in some peoples minds.

116? Is she some kind of millionaire? By the looks of the other pics I've seen, obviously she's not. The place and horses are filthy.
I don't know who "anonymous" is, but those horses in the trailer had huge holes in their throats that were bleeding and we have video of a vet explaining to our reporter what "strangles" is. The horse with the abscess also had swelling and a wound on the leg as well as horrible feet. The horse with no hair...that was not a Curly...and if it was a Curly...it still had mange. There is no excuse for the conditions of those horses....none. Anonymous can skew the facts all she or he wants...video doesn't lie and neither do the vets on sight.
I would sign a petition in a heartbeat to ban her from owning any animal. Evil personified.

Just Remember, It does not require perfection to own animals, make money, own a house or have children. It only takes one jealous person to make a complaint about anyone of us and we become a target of the abuse of the State and all the self righteous persons who think they obey all the laws so they are good and somehow better than Tania. All of the judgment made against Tania has committed her to guilt before she has ever been able to give her side of the TRUTH! What's your TRUTH?!
I have never understood how people can treat animals like that I have seen them and it made me cry. I owned a horse and she was only a few pounds under weight and me and my vet found a way for me to get it back on and keep it there. I owned a thoroughbred and they are hard to keep weight on and even I managed. I will go hungry before my animals ever do. I hope she never gets the chance to hurt another animal again.

the babys in the trailer DID NOT have strangles. and they did not have any holes get ur facts straight. and if they did why didnt the cops take them huh explain that one to me please.
So the facts were brought out in court and folks they dismissed the case. Now take a moment and consider what all you have said. Is it possible you all didn't have the facts. Don't make judgements untill you have the facts next time. Or continue to be sheep!
And yet, she's still buying and selling at the Junction City auction...
"Mom" how can you justify what Tania did to these horses? The babies in the trailer aside, do you really condone owning over one hundred horses? And clearly the photos of the bony underfed horses cannot be misunderstood. Animals are not ours to collect, mistreat and profit from. Shame you should teach your child better care for living beings. Hope she doesn't start collecting kids
