Weston

I realize he is not wearing a helmet and lots of people will be upset by that...but I had to post this pic anyway. My brother just sent me this photo. It is my little nephew Weston sitting on "Jessie". I love seeing him up on a horse. My brother and I grew up on the backs of ponies, so I hope Weston has the same kind of childhood. My sister-in-law doesn't like horses, so I think his only opportunity for riding will be when he comes to visit his aunt Julie or visits grandpa.

If he's born with it, he'll be there to ride with you! My sister was never much for horses, she only got into them because I did it. But one of her girls begs to come riding with Aunt Tracey on a regular basis.

Aww...so cute! And tell your sister-in-law to find a dressage barn. I have found at many that very few people ride and lots of wine and cheese are consumed. Maybe that could change her mind about horses :P

Aww, he's adorable. Hope he continues to ride if he really likes it.

Well, even though there is no helmet, or halter/lead for that matter, at least his dad has his hands around him. I've seen so many photos where nobody is holding the horse should it move!!

Here's to hoping that this is the beginning of a lifetime relationship with horses for him!!

HOW CUTE! I couldn't have been more delighted when my sister called to tell me my little niece is taking riding lessons!!! I bought her a pink helmet for her birthday--heck, she's five! My sister nor her husband like animals of any kind and she's getting lessons, so perhaps Weston will too!
